Celebrities Kill Me These Days. When You Look At Celebrities And The Things That They Do, It's Almost Like They Feel That They Are Far Above The Law Because Of The Money And Fame That They Have Aquired.

Black Pride Or Black Ignorance????

On to a different approach for a minute.... Tonight a program aired on National Geographic Explorer and it was a documentary about the New Age Black Panthers or simply "New Black Panthers". A leader within this organiation spoke on America's Injustices and the Oppresion By The "White Man" in America. The Speaker's name was Shaka Shakur and he boldly spoke of his hatred of the U.S while his subordinates stood at attention in a military fashion in front of a burning American Flag. At the front of thier ranks was an African flag that was held up with pride.

I had to take a moment and laugh. The picture of it all was quite honestly ridiculous if you actually think about it. They bashed Obama for riding on what they called "The White Horse" and spoke hatred of anything American or White in nature. And though many of you out there may live the "Black Power" way of life, In my opininon, It's all very much bullshit.

For Instance, The "White" man has held us down and made our lives miserable BUT it's the BLACK MAN that robs, kills, beats, and rapes it's own. It's The BLACK MAN who makes most people make sure to be in the house before sundown.
As days and years progress, You hear so many excuses on why the BLACK MAN doesn't get far in life or why we do the things we do and each time the finger is pointed to the WHITE MAN. When do we start to take accountability for the shit we do as black men? No one told us that we needed to Gang Bang instead of going to school. We were never made to spend our money on fancy clothes,weed & cars instead of playing a role in our son's and daughter's lives. Who do we blame for that???? Certainly not the WHITE MAN!!!

Then there's the old story we always come back to about Slavery....
The White Man owes us this because of slavery or they owe us that.... In all honesty, they don't owe YOU shit, bottom line. 90% of us who have sat here and complained of what the white race owes us has not ONE family member down the line who was ever a slave or in any form of slavery. So how are you owed anything????

My conclusion.... Get the fuck off your high horses and realize no one owes us shit because of the color of our skin because when it comes down to it, you don't deserve it if you didn't earn it. And for the New Age Black Panthers...It'll only be a matter of time before you betray eachother like the Original Black Panther Party did, But shit I guess it's just the way of the Panther.
